Our Philosophy

The Kinship TriangleMost parenting advice focuses on the child.
We start with the parent.
Our philosophy is simple: a well-rested, well-nourished parent is better equipped to raise a well-rested, well-nourished child. When you feel supported, confident and informed, everything else follows. We call this the Kinship Triangle — the relationship between your wellbeing, your child's wellbeing, and the knowledge that connects them.

The Kinship Triangle was inspired by Maslow's hierarchy of needs, but is grounded in 40 years of Diane Tunstall's experience as a Registered Nurse — on neonatal and paedeatric wards, lecturing in child health, in private maternity care and in living rooms with families around the world navigating the beautiful, exhausting reality of early parenthood.Everything we discuss is underpinned by credible research. Everything we deliver is practical, warm, and free of judgement — because there is no single right way to parent, only the way that works for you and your family.

🥦 Food

Practical guidance for happy, healthy eaters — for lifeWeaning is one of the most exciting — and most overwhelming — milestones of early parenthood. The conflicting advice is endless. The anxiety about choking, allergens, and nutrition is real. And the pressure to "get it right" can turn mealtimes into a battleground before they've even begun. It doesn't have to be that way.
We bring together four decades of neonatal and paediatric nursing experience to guide you through weaning with confidence — not by telling you what to do, but by helping you understand your child, trust your instincts, and find the approach that works for your family.
Because happy mealtimes start with an informed, confident parent. In this session we will explore together:When and how to start weaning — and the signs to look for in your childExplore food choices — building real flavours, skills and confidenceTextures, gagging and choking — understanding the differences and feeling calmWhat your baby really needs in terms of iron, allergens and nutrition
